[:uk]Через війну, постійні обстріли і небезпеку діти в Україні не мають змоги відвідувати школи, навчання відбувається дистанційно, діти не спілкуються з однолітками та викладачами. У багатьох дітей відсутні комп‘ютери для дистанційного навчання.
Завдяки фінансуванню німецького міста Дуйсбург, який є побратимом українського міста Кривий Ріг у співпраці з Німецько-українською громадською організацією «Синьо-жовтий хрест» та ГО «Ротарі-клуб «Київ-Cтолиця» був реалізований проєкт Навчання у безпеці: Digital Learning Center. В бомбосховище Палацу культури «Карачуни» м. Кривий ріг був створений комп‘ютерний клас, обладнаний 16 комп‘ютерами, інтерактивною дошкою, придбані ліцензоване програмне забезпечення для графіки, дизайну тощо. Бюджет проєкту – 40 000 євро.
На сьогоднішній день у Кривому Розі знаходяться більш ніж 80 тис. біженців, з яких близько 20 тис. – діти. Таким чином відкриття Digital Learning Center дозволило проводити освітні та розвиваючі заняття для дітей у безпечних умовах.
Діти отримують і засвоюють початкові навички WEB-дизайну, комп’ютерної графіки та анімації, навчаються створювати моделі для 3D друку, отримують консультації з викладачами.
У дорослих з’явилась можливість отримати додаткову професію або перекваліфікуватись, що є важливим в умовах безробіття. Головне, що все це відбувається в безпеці – в укритті.
Проєкт реалізується в співпраці з місцевою владою, яка оплачує ремонті роботи, комунальні послуги і оплату працю викладачів.
Даний осередок комп’ютерної думки став суттєвим вкладом у розбудову та зміцнення освітнього та культурного потенціалу міста Кривий Ріг.
Такі комп‘ютерні класи потребує кожна прифронтова громада. Наш клуб має звернення таких громад на реалізацію аналогічного проєкту.
[:en]Due to the war, constant shelling and danger, children in Ukraine cannot attend school, learning takes is going on remotely, children do not communicate with their peers and teachers. Many children do not have computers for distance learning.Thanks to the financing of the German city of Duisburg, which is a twin city of the Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih, in cooperation with the German-Ukrainian public organization Blue-Yellow Cross and the NGO Rotary Club Kyiv-Capital the project Learning in safety: Digital Learning Center was implemented. A computer class was created in the bomb shelter of Karachuny Palace of Culture in Kryvyi Rih, it was equipped with 16 computers, an interactive whiteboard, and licensed software for graphics, design, etc. was purchased. The project budget is EUR 40,000.
Today, there are more than 80,000 refugees in Kryvyi Rih, including about 20,000 children. Thus, the opening of the Digital Learning Center made it possible to conduct educational and developmental classes for children in the safe environment.
Children receive and learn the basic skills of WEB design, computer graphics and animation, they learn to create models for 3D printing and receive consultations from teachers.
Adults have the opportunity to acquire an additional profession or retrain, which is important in context of unemployment. The main thing is that all this is done in safety – in the shelter.
The project is being implemented in cooperation with the local authorities, who pays for repairs, utilities and teachers’ salaries.
This center of computer thought became a significant contribution to the development and strengthening of the educational and cultural potential of Kryvyi Rih city.
Every frontline community needs such computer classes. Our club has requests from such communities to implement a similar project.
