- 3. Grants to Ukrainian journalists and freelancers for work trips to the front lines.
- 4. Support for the families of the dead Ukrainian journalists.
- 5. Physical and psychological rehabilitation of Ukrainian journalists.

In December 2019, the Public Union "District Rotary International 2232" and the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
This event was timed to the 22nd anniversary of the Rotary Club "Kyiv-Capital", one of the oldest Rotary Clubs in Ukraine.
The memorandum was signed by Serhii Tomilenko, the Chairman of the NSJU, and Mykola Steblyanko, the current Chairman of the Union, Governor of Rotary District 2232.
The parties agreed to jointly improve the qualifications and retraining of journalists, to promote their acquisition of new skills and professions, to hold joint educational seminars, "round tables", briefings, press conferences and other events aimed at improving the domestic information space; prepare and issue methodical materials; to use the material and technical base of the parties for educational and creative purposes on mutually beneficial terms, to conduct mutual consultations on the application of the latest technologies — in particular, in the implementation of humanitarian measures and during the training of journalists.
There are a lot of journalists in the Ukrainian Rotary ranks, most of them in the Rotary Club "Kyiv-Capital".
